The lush tropical forest is not the only green haven in Rio de Janeiro. The Botanical Garden is also a true paradise of flora and fauna. On this tour, we combine these two natural gems into a single experience. In just a few hours, you’ll explore the city’s most stunning natural settings, perfect places to reconnect with nature, breathe fresh air, and simply slow down.
The Tijuca Forest is home to hidden waterfalls, inviting trails, and breathtaking viewpoints. But now, let’s turn our attention to the Botanical Garden.
Founded in 1808, the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden holds one of the richest collections of tropical plants in the world. It features over 900 species of palm trees and dozens of native species under threat of extinction, all carefully preserved among shaded pathways and ornamental lakes. More than 140 species of birds also live here, filling the air with birdsong and creating a natural spectacle at every step.
What makes this experience even more magical is that, while walking through the gardens, you're still surrounded by the same forest you explore on the trails: the Atlantic Forest. And don’t forget to look up, through the treetops, you might catch a glimpse of Christ the Redeemer watching over everything from above.
