MORRO DOIS IRMÃOS

Morro Dois Irmãos is one of the most sought-after trails in Rio, and in my opinion, it offers the most beautiful view. From the top, you can see all of the city's iconic landmarks in an incredible panoramic view. The adventure begins even before the hike. To reach the top, we take a mototáxi (motorcycle taxi), though it’s also possible to go by van. Generally, they recommend taking the moto as it allows you to explore one of the most famous and visited communities: Vidigal. This area is very active in terms of tourism, with its bars and restaurants at the top of the community as well as being a starting point for the trail. The trail has several viewpoints along the way before reaching the top, making it perfect for anyone who loves taking photos or recording moments.

ITINERARY: Tour through the Vidigal community to the start of the hiking trail to Morro Dois Irmãos (533 meters).

RECOMMENDATIONS: Bring water, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing for the hike (approximately 50 minutes of walking, with some steep sections – medium difficulty).
